We are a boutique wealth management and retirement planning firm, supporting more than 100 families. We are service-oriented, and our clients stay with us because of the incredible service they receive. We have a blended business and always do what is right for the client, including financial planning, retirement planning, tax/estate planning, and investment management. Our mission is to partner with our clients and guide them toward successful retirement goals. We are currently a small team of three, our President and two operations people, where every team member works hard to support each other, towards the primary purpose of caring for our clients. We are looking to expand our advisory team as we continue to grow.

The Associate Advisor will work closely with our President as you learn and soak in the strategies, philosophies and infrastructure he’s built. The role will be in support of him and the client set, attending and eventually contributing to client meetings and conversations, managing the follow up, and managing the plan. Additional responsibilities are data gathering and analysis, development of financial planning recommendations, implementation, complex case research and resolution, trade preparation, reporting, and more, always ensuring a tailored and seamless client experience. The ultimate goal is to grow you into managing a specific group of households as their primary point of contact, likely over 18-24 months. There is a project manager feel to this role as you naturally navigate and oversee tasks from initiation to completion. You act as quarterback extremely well. The role will expand based on your abilities from there!

Your resourcefulness and attention to detail are always accompanied by impeccable follow-through.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the lead advisor in the preparation of upcoming client meetings; attend meetings for the purpose of notetaking and follow up
  • Engage and support clients through the data collection process
  • Analyze and research information for plan development
  • Organize, review and prepare the data for analysis
  • Produce detailed client road maps, presentations and analyses for meetings with clients and prospects using a combination of systems
  • Research complex situations, set client expectations, and define the actions necessary to resolve inquiries in a timely manner
  • Update client accounts and review alerts, suitability updates, etc. daily
  • Oversee annual tax reporting and completion of relevant tax documentation with CPAs
  • Investment product research and analysis; evaluate potential investment solutions, presenting findings to advisory team
  • Proactively monitor custodian and internal alerts on a daily basis for change
  • Continuously monitor client data across various platforms for accuracy and continuity
  • Monitor and update internal operating procedures as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in the wealth management industry, supporting one or more financial advisors required
  • CFP designation highly preferred, or progress towards obtaining and test date set for 2025
  • Knowledge of broker-dealer/RIA platforms and trading systems
  • Familiarity and knowledge with financial planning software is required; RightCapital and Holistiplan is a plus
  • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required
  • Knowledge of industry-specific CRM software is required
  • The ability to be a self-starter, critical thinker, problem-solver, and goal-oriented team player
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), relationship building, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, delegate, and manage a busy workload



Compensation: $55K - $80K DOE
