We are a boutique RIA managing $150M for a select group of clients. Supporting more than 100 families, we have the pleasure of serving retirees, those planning to retire in five years or less, and business owners preparing for life’s next chapter. Through our process, we help clients “Retire to Something” with intention. Our tailored retirement, tax, estate, and investment plans guide our clients toward successful retirement goals, and we are seeking someone excited about contributing to this mission. We are a small, high-performing team scaling toward $1B in AUM in five years and we are looking for a growth-minded CFP who’s ready and eager to grow into a Lead Advisor within 12-24 months.

About the Role

As the Associate Advisor, you will partner directly with the President to learn and soak in the strategies, philosophies, and infrastructure he’s built. Initially, the role will be in support of him and the client set, attending and eventually contributing to client meetings and conversations, managing the follow up, and managing the plan. You will also be active in data gathering and analysis, development of financial planning recommendations, implementation, complex case research and resolution, trade preparation, reporting, and more, always ensuring a tailored and seamless client experience. This position offers a clear path to becoming a Lead Advisor, and when ready, you will graduate to manage a specific group of households and act as their primary point of contact.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a support advisor for clients, contributing to all aspects of the planning process and transitioning select clients to you as their primary advisor within 12–24 months
  • Support the lead advisor in the preparation of upcoming client meetings; attend meetings, take detailed notes, track follow up tasks, and ensure timely execution of action items
  • Lead data gathering and conduct initial analysis to develop customized retirement, tax, estate, and investment plans
  • Clarify client goals and objectives and translate them into actionable, customized recommendations
  • Manage planning workflows, portfolio oversight, and client reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Research complex situations, set client expectations, and define the actions necessary to resolve inquiries in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up to date client information by proactively monitoring accounts, alerts, and data across custodians and internal systems
  • Collaborate with CPAs, attorneys, and client service team to deliver a seamless family-office experience
  • Assist with reviewing and updating internal operating procedures to drive process consistency and improvement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in the wealth management industry, supporting one or more financial advisors required
  • CFP designation required; CFP Candidates with test date set by early 2026 will also be considered
  • Series 65 license required
  • Knowledge of RIA platforms and trading systems
  • Familiarity and knowledge with financial planning software is required; RightCapital and Holistiplan is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry-specific CRM software is required; Wealthbox is a plus
  • Intermediate-Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required
  • Strong communicator, detail-oriented, and driven

  • Ability to be a self-starter, critical thinker, problem-solver, and goal-oriented team player
  • Excellent relationship building and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, delegate, and manage a busy workload



Compensation: $80K-$100K + Bonus
