We are a boutique tax strategy consulting and wealth management firm with a unique focus on high-income clients, requiring an in-depth delivery of financial planning. Our typical clients are entrepreneurs that need consistent, meticulous and ongoing planning, particularly around tax, cash flow, entity structure, and legal issues. We are consultants to our clients with a strong reputation for excellence, performing all of the discovery and planning work internally, then leveraging outside partners for execution on some high-level tax strategy, investments, insurance, or otherwise as necessary for their expertise. We are a small team, where every team member works hard to support each other, towards the primary purpose of caring for our clients. We are seeking a remarkable person to join our team in an Associate Advisor role! You are an extension of our advisory team, primarily responsible for conducting research and analysis on complex cases, modeling financial scenarios, reviewing documents, and ensuring follow-up on all aspects of the tax, investment, estate planning, and insurance planning services we offer to our clients. In addition to the technical mastery, you are reliable, dependable, and highly loyal. You have a strong understanding of financial concepts, a clear sense of doing the right thing, and a passion for helping those around you. Your resourcefulness and attention to detail are always accompanied by impeccable follow-through. Your primary skillset lies in project management, allowing you to efficiently navigate and oversee tasks from initiation to completion. You can work autonomously without the need for micro-management and hold yourself accountable for completing your responsibilities.

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal team members through the data collection process
  • Analyze and research information to develop comprehensive plans
  • Organize, review and prepare the data for analysis
  • Use financial planning software tool to prepare various reports
  • Research complex situations and define the actions necessary to resolve inquiries in a timely manner
  • Prepare reports and update spreadsheets using a variety of software applications
  • Work with external partners to obtain pertinent information and materials
  • Provide updates to the internal team summarizing work completed and pending tasks

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, financial planning, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of progressive experience in the wealth management industry, supporting one or more financial advisors required
  • CFP designation preferred, or desire to obtain
  • Ability to manage complex client projects, with a thoughtful and diligent process
  • Strong enthusiasm for financial planning
  • Basic knowledge of regulations, financial planning and investment management
  • Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with eMoney, Advisor Engine aka: Junxure, Orion, Holistaplan or similar softwares preferred
  • Experience working with Schwab as custodian preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to interact effectively with the team
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems



Compensation: $75K - $100K
