Targeted HR Consulting is proud to partner with a nationally recognized infrastructure leader to recruit a Project Manager – Heavy Civil (Bridges) for a major bridge project in the NYC metro area. Key Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you’ll report to the VP of Operations and manage critical aspects of bridge construction and rehabilitation, including:

  • Overseeing all phases of large-scale bridge projects within the NYC region.

  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

  • Managing all client communication, compliance with state and federal funding procedures, and documentation.

  • Driving contract execution, risk mitigation, and project performance.

  • Leading negotiations for scope changes, contract modifications, and additional services.

  • Participating in regulatory meetings and representing the company in public forums.

  • Implementing project controls including safety, QA/QC, and execution planning.

  • Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural), Construction Management, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience managing bridge and structural projects, including NYC-area public works.

  • Proven track record on heavy civil projects over $250M.

  • Experience with moveable or complex bridge systems and mechanical/electrical components preferred.

  • Mastery of project documentation including RFIs, submittals, work plans, T&M billing, and CPM scheduling.

  • Familiarity with DOT, MTA, or similar public agency requirements.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead client-facing initiatives.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Primavera P6, and MS Project is a plus.

  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

  • Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship.
