About the Role:
As the Field Service Coordinator, you’ll serve as the central hub between customers, field service techs, the sales team, and operations. From quoting small service jobs to dispatching techs and ensuring seamless service delivery, you’ll play a key role in both the day-to-day and long-term success of the service division.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare bids, estimates, and quotes for service jobs
Coordinate and dispatch Field Service Technicians into the field
Order parts and materials as needed for service jobs
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
Communicate daily with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
Track and follow up on quotes, work orders, and project schedules
Support Field Service Manager and Business Specialist in managing small projects
Maintain accurate customer and service data in internal systems (Navpoint, MS Office)
Assist in occasional outbound customer service and business development calls
What We’re Looking For:
Local candidates only – this is an Omaha-based role
Hands-on trades experience REQUIRED – construction, plumbing, electrical, or HVAC background strongly preferred
Hybrid work eligible after in-office training period (2 remote days/week)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Experience in quoting, service coordination, and ordering parts
Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical documentation
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Experience with service dispatch, field support, or technician scheduling a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred OR equivalent work experience
Authorized to work in the US without work visa sponsorship
Bonus If You Have:
Estimating or bidding experience for service jobs
Familiarity with ERP or field service management tools
Exposure to short-term project coordination
Ability to handle pricing calculations, discounts, and basic project accounting
