Team Red Dog is seeking a Social Media Program Manager (Gaming) for our client, a creative technology powerhouse and global digital experience innovator in the gaming space. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced communication specialist with a strong background in gaming, social media strategy, content development, analytics, and community engagement who is passionate about driving awareness and engagement across high-visibility digital channels.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  • 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry, preferably with a major game publisher, managing high-volume social media channels and supporting large-scale franchise initiatives.
  • 3–5+ years of social media strategy planning, goal setting, and execution, including campaign development, content calendars, publishing workflows, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • 3–5+ years of strong analytical experience, translating social media performance data into actionable insights that drive engagement and optimize campaigns.
  • Advanced copywriting and platform expertise, including experience with Office 365, Sprinklr, and native social media analytics tools to manage reporting and performance tracking.

Opportunity Overview:
This role offers the chance to serve as the social voice for a major gaming Marketplace within a globally recognized franchise. You will collaborate with Social & Influencer, Product Marketing, and Integrated Marketing teams while owning key aspects of social planning and execution. The position provides creative freedom within established brand frameworks and offers meaningful portfolio-building experience within a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.

How you will make an impact:
• Lead social planning and execution for Marketplace initiatives, aligning with brand voice, social strategy, and business objectives.
• Partner with Marketplace, Product Marketing, and Integrated Marketing teams to translate priorities and timelines into effective social campaigns.
• Develop content strategies, draft copy, manage content calendars, and oversee publishing across owned social media channels.
• Serve as a bridge between business objectives and creative execution, shaping briefs and enabling high-performing social content.
• Monitor cultural trends, platform updates, and creator ecosystems to identify timely engagement opportunities.
• Manage day-to-day social operations including scheduling, community engagement, and light moderation support.
• Analyze performance metrics, contribute to reporting dashboards, and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.

The expertise you bring:
• 5–8 years of overall experience in social media, marketing, or communications.
• 5+ years of experience within the gaming sector, ideally supporting major publishers or gaming brands.
• Proven experience managing high-volume social channels and executing multi-channel campaigns.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to drive insight to action.
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and analytics tools; Sprinklr and native platform analytics preferred.
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice to brand standards.
• Excellent project management, organization, and storytelling skills.
• Familiarity with Minecraft strongly preferred.
• No degree required.
