Program Manager & Events Coordinator
Team Red Dog
- Redmond, WA, United States
Team Red Dog is seeking a proactive Program & Event Coordinator to support a high-impact executive team at Microsoft’s Redmond campus. This hybrid role (primarily onsite) offers the opportunity to contribute to event execution, business operations, and executive communications while working alongside leaders in a dynamic, people-first culture. If you thrive on tactical support, attention to detail, and operational variety, we want to hear from you.
Top Required Skills (Must Haves):
- Event Planning & Support: Minimum 1+ year of experience with event coordination, including logistics, communications, and stakeholder management. Video editing experience a plus.
- Budget & Rhythm of Business (ROB): Minimum 1+ year supporting budget management, RoB processes, and related operational tasks.
- Executive-Ready Collateral: Proficiency with SharePoint, PowerPoint presentation design, and email template creation.
Opportunity Overview:
This role focuses on supporting the business operations and event logistics for a high-profile executive team. You’ll play a hands-on part in event planning (town halls, meetings), executive collateral development (PowerPoints, SharePoint, email comms), and help keep business processes running smoothly. The position is best suited to someone who is tactical, reliable, and eager to deliver quality with a positive team spirit.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Provide end-to-end event support: schedule and coordinate town halls, manage invites, book rooms, work with admins on catering, secure presentations, and handle day-of logistics.
- Develop polished, executive-ready materials: build and refine PowerPoint decks, create and manage SharePoint content, draft email templates, and support collateral documentation.
- Contribute to budget management, Rhythm of Business (ROB) processes, and ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Collaborate with team members and executives to meet deadlines, solve problems, and streamline operational processes.
- (If applicable) Assist with basic video editing for event recaps and executive communications.
The Expertise You Bring:
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience in program or event coordination, operations support, or a related field.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, SharePoint, and business communications tools (email templates, docs).
- Experience in event support, logistics, and/or administrative operations.
- Basic budget tracking or Rhythm of Business support experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to work independently, take direction, and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Professionalism in executive-facing environments; able to work onsite most days (3–4 days/week) in Redmond, WA.
- Video editing skills are a plus, but not required.
What Makes a Candidate Highly Successful in This Role:
- Experience supporting executives or high-visibility teams, preferably in a hybrid or onsite environment.
- Demonstrated initiative, organization, and ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision.
- Not overly senior—tactical, collaborative, and eager to contribute as a team player.
- Able to balance heads-down execution with effective communication and flexibility.
