Team Red Dog is looking for a Data Analyst to join our client’s growing supply chain operations team. This is a unique opportunity to build reporting and data structures from the ground up, directly supporting distribution, transportation, and warehousing functions while providing insights that drive efficiency and operational excellence. This fully remote role allows you to work with cross-functional stakeholders across the U.S. and Europe and contribute to foundational analytics processes that shape the future of supply chain operations. (Bonus: Work hours PST or EST.)

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience with data analysis and reporting, including tools such as SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI to build dashboards and deliver actionable insights.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, with knowledge of distribution, transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing processes.
  3. Proven track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders to gather requirements, present data findings, and ensure alignment across business functions.

Opportunity Overview:
This contract role offers the exciting chance to design and implement new reporting systems within a newly formed team, directly influencing how supply chain data is tracked, shared, and leveraged. With visibility across distribution, transportation, warehousing, and international shipping, you will help establish operational insights that drive decision-making at scale.

How you will make an impact:
• Partner with senior management, technical teams, and client teams to define data requirements and strategies.
• Develop, code, and implement logical and physical database descriptions.
• Design, automate, and maintain enterprise data ETL processes.
• Modify existing databases and direct technical teams to implement changes.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting structures to track operational performance.
• Support weekly business reviews and international shipping reporting.
• Test databases and programs, ensuring accuracy and resolving issues as needed.

The expertise you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, data science, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in data analysis and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency with SQL, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and database technologies.
• Familiarity with scripting languages.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
