Program Manager - Data Centers

Team Red Dog has a new opening for a highly skilled Program Manager to manage and oversee key projects related to the next generation of data centers. The team handles critical networking equipment in data centers, comparable to large-scale hardware delivery in telecommunications. This role focuses on managing InfiniBand to support the new development powering future data centers.

Top Requirements:

  • 4 years of experience with Data Analytics/Data Mining
  • 3 years of experience with Executive Presence/Articulation
  • 2 years of experience with People Management

Opportunity Overview:

This is a highly analytical and hands-on role, requiring close involvement in data trends, metrics, and KPIs. As part of the next-gen data center project, you will collaborate closely with vendors, analyze performance data, and ensure that the network equipment is optimized for new developments. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI-driven space and AI-related products with the potential for full-time employment in the future.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee vendor management and analyze data, metrics, and KPIs to ensure compliance and performance optimization
  • Manage multiple meetings during the initial ramp-up period (80% of time) to build relationships and understanding
  • Handle email communications (15% of time) and monitoring optimization and analytics (5% of time)
  • Analyze data and trends, ensuring time stamps are accurate to build a comprehensive view of operations
  • Present and explain reports, proposals, and findings to clients
  • Coordinate project plans and direct technical integration activities to achieve project goals

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings and present to executives
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of business and management principles in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or a related field required
  • PMI or PMP certification preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field
