Team Red Dog is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support our client’s large-scale cloud supply chain team. This role focuses on budget management and financial operations for one of the industry’s most significant and complex supply chain organizations. Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Budget Management (5+ years): Proven experience managing budgets end-to-end, including forecasting, compliance, and tracking spend for programs over $100M.
  2. Data Analytics (7+ years): Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI to analyze large-scale financial data, identify gaps, and create clear reporting for stakeholders.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration (5+ years): Ability to work with budget owners, compliance teams, and leadership to resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

Opportunity Overview:
This role provides the opportunity to contribute directly to financial operations for a central executive office team that oversees a large cloud supply chain. You’ll work on high-visibility projects managing hundreds of millions in spend, digging into financials, identifying gaps, and supporting quarterly forecasting. It’s a role with strong ownership, where you’ll have measurable impact on how budgets are managed, tracked, and optimized.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage and execute budgets across cloud supply chain operations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify variances and track spend.
  • Partner with budget owners and stakeholders, asking tough questions when needed.
  • Drive compliance reviews and support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Initiate and manage purchase orders (POs), approvals, and tracking.
  • Monitor unused funds, ensure repurposing, and maintain accurate reporting.
  • Support quarterly budget forecasting and financial planning.
  • Establish and document processes to improve workflow and efficiency.

The expertise you bring:

  • 5–7 years of experience in business operations, finance, or related fields.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale corporate budgets ($100M+).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, drive progress, and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
