Team Red Dog is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to support our client’s infrastructure and cloud finance organization. This fully remote role will focus on coordinating data processing changes in Excel, Power BI, and data query tools to support the Purchase Order (PO) rollover process for the FY26 Budget Planning. If you have a strong background in financial data analysis, Excel, and Power BI — and are excited to work with large-scale enterprise data — this is the opportunity for you.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  • Excel Expertise – Minimum 5 years of experience working with large data sets, including data validation, analysis, and automation in Excel.
  • Financial Management – Minimum 5 years of experience managing financial data, including budget planning and expense tracking.
  • Power BI – Minimum 5 years of experience creating and modifying reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI.
  • Data Processing & Automation – Strong understanding of data query tools and scripting for streamlining and automating reporting processes.

How you will make an impact:

  • Support the annual Purchase Order (PO) rollover process for fiscal year planning.
  • Work with PO Management and Technical Teams to confirm data validation, requirements, and best practices for PO data used for budget planning.
  • Design, implement, and automate large-scale enterprise data reporting using Excel, Power BI, and data query tools.
  • Modify existing databases and data management systems to improve reporting accuracy and data integrity.
  • Test programs or databases, correct errors, and make necessary adjustments to meet project goals.

The expertise you bring:

  • 5–7 years of experience in financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong Excel skills, including working with large data sets and automating reports.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and data query tools for creating dashboards and managing data insights.
  • Experience with financial management, including budget planning and expense tracking.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data insights to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field preferred.
