Project Manager (Multiple Positions)

Opportunity Overview: Our client, a highly accredited organization in the public sector is seeking a very qualified candidate, like you, to fill a project manager role. We are seeking someone who has strong analytical acumen, broad awareness of key organizational objectives, and an ability to prioritize multiple timelines and competing goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • In affiliation with other PMO resources define and track Critical Path and inter-project dependency
  • Work proactively to identify potential risks, dependencies, and obstacles which may affect successful completion of deliverables
  • Sustain project management from end-to-end
  • Track, report and build a repeatable hand-off process that moves between responsible technology teams
  • Ensure health of backlog via technical tools including Jira
  • Create and maintain detailed work plans in support of Technical Workstreams including gap application development
  • Provide project management support for all Tech Workstreams, including planning and coordination of change management and communications
  • Support and coordinate implementation aspects of vendors software solutions as needed to enable core financial implementation in Workday
  • Own relationship with external teams (i.e. project teams at banks) and drive scheduling, coordination, and status reporting
  • Drive and facilitate communication with program and project teams, management, customers, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with functional leads to ensure priorities are aligned with project management goals
  • Proactive coordination of work across a distributed set of partner engineering teams understanding the technical landscape of the enterprise organization

     

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information management, computer science, business administration or related field
  • 5+ years of experience performing complex tasks in information and technical management activities, particularly in ERP applications as Lead/Principal and experience in information technology
  • Ability to multitask efficiently on parallel efforts and strong prioritization skills
  • Experience in Workday integration with multiple legacy system landscapes and third-party systems
  • Agile project management experience
  • Develop full system life cycles experience: Analysis, designing, coding, testing, performance tuning and documentation
  • Ability to effectively build relationships, promotes a collaborative and team environment, and influences others
  • Experience with large scale technical project management in large, complex environments
  • Demonstrated good leadership and communication skills

    *Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications

     

    Desired:

  • Proficiency in JIRA or similar project tracking/issue tracking tool
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience leading development of end-to-end Information Technology solutions
  • Knowledge of multiple business subject areas
