This exciting opportunity is ideal for a fast-moving, data-driven researcher who can deliver actionable insights to improve internal engineering and developer tools, particularly in incident and outage management.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

• Rapid UX Research Methods: Minimum 5 years running end-to-end studies in fast-paced settings.
• Data Analysis & Written Communication: Strong ability to synthesize findings into concise executive reports.
• Incident Management Systems: Preferably with Microsoft’s ICM or comparable platforms in large-scale environments.

Opportunity Overview:

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, iterative research environment. You’ll drive meaningful improvements in how Microsoft manages incident and outage response by delivering weekly UX research studies that directly influence internal tools.

• Design and execute rapid usability tests and concept evaluations.

• Conduct contextual inquiries and workflow studies with internal users.
• Analyze and synthesize research findings into executive-level communications.

The expertise you bring:

• Minimum 5 years of industry UX research experience post-graduation.
• Experience conducting iterative, agile UX research cycles.
• Background working with internal tools or engineering systems.
• Strong written communication and stakeholder management.
