Team Red Dog is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer (React, Web UX) to support our design-forward technology client on-site in Redmond, WA. This role focuses on building scalable, high-performance web interfaces that shape intuitive, user-centered digital experiences. You’ll work hands-on with React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and UX-driven front-end architecture while collaborating closely with design, product, and engineering partners on highly visible consumer-facing experiences.

This role offers the opportunity to help define and deliver the UX foundation for future Xbox experiences. You’ll work in a highly collaborative, design-driven environment where front-end engineering and user experience intersect. The work is impactful, visible, and central to how users interact with next-generation gaming platforms and services.
How you will make an impact:
• Design and develop responsive, user-centric web interfaces using React and modern front-end technologies
• Partner closely with UX designers to implement wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI components
• Optimize front-end performance, accessibility, and maintainability
• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, reusable code
• Integrate front-end features with back-end APIs and services
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues across browsers and devices
• Contribute to component libraries, design systems, and front-end standards
• Estimate development timelines and identify technical constraints
The expertise you bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human–Computer Interaction, or a related field
• 2–4+ years of professional experience building modern web applications with a focus on React and UX
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility best practices
• Experience with front-end tooling and build pipelines (Webpack, Vite, ESLint, etc.)
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle from requirements through deployment
