Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:

Research Planning and Execution:

• Design and conduct research studies to evaluate and identify improvements for Microsoft Copilot.
• Create competitive analysis frameworks and evaluate Copilot compared to key industry competitors.

Generative and Evaluative Research:

• Conduct qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the research approach aligns with product objectives.

Data Analysis and Synthesis:

• Analyze and synthesize data from diverse sources to prioritize findings and clearly communicate insights.
• Create comprehensive yet concise reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Project Management:

• Coordinate with research partners, study recruitment vendors, and research operations to maintain timelines and project momentum.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.

Rapid Insight and Output Generation:

• Execute research projects and provide insights quickly to maximize stakeholder impact.
• Create research deliverables such as videos, presentations, and interactive documents    summarizing key findings.

Qualifications/Experience:

Required:

• Education: Advanced degree in Engineering, Social Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and executing UX research using mixed-methods approaches (qualitative and quantitative).
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in qualitative research methods, including conducting interviews and synthesizing insights.
  Strong written and verbal communication skills to present and influence data-driven decisions.

Preferred:

• Advanced degree in Human Factors, HCI, or a related research field.
• Experience conducting user research for AI products, particularly large language models (LLMs) or generative AI.
• Experience incorporating accessibility and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) concerns into the research lifecycle.
