Team Red Dog is seeking a skilled Software Asset Management Project Manager to support our client’s global software licensing operations. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to partner with key business groups, reduce risk, and deliver best-in-class licensing consolidation projects. Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Software Asset Management (SAM): Minimum 3+ years’ experience managing enterprise-level software assets, including administering licensing contracts and leveraging SAM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
  2. Project Management: 2–4 years of project management experience, with a proven track record of leading high-visibility projects and collaborating across business groups.
  3. Data Analysis & Reporting: Experience with SQL queries and building Power BI dashboards, plus proficiency in creating and maintaining SharePoint sites.

Opportunity Overview:
This role focuses on managing third-party software assets for our client, driving cost reduction and risk mitigation by executing software licensing consolidation initiatives. You will work closely with the Software Licensing Service team, Procurement, and other stakeholders to define best practices, lead strategic projects, and deliver executive-level reporting. The position offers exposure to AI and a new model of software asset management, making it a high-visibility, career-growth opportunity.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Lead licensing consolidation projects by partnering with business groups and procurement to optimize software asset management practices.
  • Define and execute best-in-class software licensing operations, drawing on industry standards and hands-on experience.
  • Build project backlogs, establish agile ceremonies, and populate Azure DevOps with critical licensing data.
  • Create and refine documentation, procedures, and executive-level reporting on project implementation.
  • Contribute to a growing program recognized at the executive level within the organization.

The Expertise You Bring:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), ideally with ServiceNow or similar SAM tools.
  • 2+ years’ experience administering software licensing contracts.
  • 1+ years’ experience in data analysis (SQL, Power BI), and SharePoint site management.
  • Strong written communication skills and demonstrated fluency in English.
  • Experience working independently, learning new structures quickly, and executing with minimal supervision.
  • Background in IT service operations and awareness of technical methods for license management.
