Project Manager (Level 1) - Cloud Decommissioning Program

Team Red Dog is seeking a Project Manager (Level 1) – Cloud Decommissioning Program to support our Global Technology client. In this exciting role, you’ll help drive operational excellence in one of the world’s largest cloud infrastructure environments. You’ll coordinate complex data center decommissioning projects, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with governance company governance and confidentiality standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented project professional with experience in large-scale infrastructure programs and an interest in cloud lifecycle operations.

 

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. Project Management (1–2 years): Coordinate complex, cross-functional technical and operational projects across multiple teams.
  2. Data Center or Infrastructure Program Support (1–2 years): Support decommissioning or operational closure programs, ensuring compliance and accuracy in deliverables.
  3. Microsoft Tools (1–2 years): Utilize Stratus, SharePoint, Excel, and Power BI to manage documentation, reporting, and compliance deliverables.

 

Opportunity Overview:

How you will make an impact:

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities for data center closure and decommissioning projects.
  • Manage and track project milestones to ensure alignment with internal PMO schedules and reporting requirements.
  • Use Stratus and DC closure tools to support project execution and documentation.
  • Maintain SharePoint repositories and project artifacts related to decommissioning activities.
  • Handle materials containing Client Company Confidential and Highly Confidential information responsibly.
  • Produce and maintain closure evidence required for compliance and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Finance, and Engineering teams to ensure timely project updates and deliverables.

The expertise you bring:

  • 1–2 years of project management experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
  • 1–2 years supporting data center or infrastructure operations, preferably decommissioning or closure programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft tools such as Stratus, SharePoint, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
