Power Platform Security Consultant

Team Red Dog is seeking an experienced Power Platform Security Consultant to join our Global Technology client’s high-visibility CELA division. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen the security posture of cloud-based services across Azure and Power Platform, while collaborating with engineering teams and stakeholders across multiple organizations. Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  • 5+ years experience with automation and coding skills (some specific examples of the assignments will include the following: Programing with C#, Scripting with PowerShell, Automating remediation for Azure resources based Azure policy controls, Use of Power Automate and ADO integration)
  • 3+ years of experience in security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and ensure remediation.
  • 1+ years of experience with risk management frameworks, such as NIST CSF v2, to align compliance efforts with industry standards.
  • Strong automation and coding skills to streamline compliance workflows and remediation processes.

    Opportunity Overview:
    This is a high-visibility, division-level role supporting 14+ organizations and over 100+ services and tools. You will be directly involved in improving cybersecurity compliance across cloud platforms, while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders. This role provides the unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with meaningful impact at scale, ensuring both proactive security management and organizational readiness.

    How you will make an impact:

    • Perform in-depth security and risk assessments for Azure and Power Platform services.
    • Document risks in the Risk Register and track remediation actions through closure.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide technical guidance and remediation support.
    • Automate compliance workflows and streamline remediation efforts through coding and scripting.
    • Capture and standardize remediation steps into reusable guidance.
    • Analyze security and compliance datasets using Azure Data Explorer (Kusto).
    • Participate in compliance campaigns and align efforts with corporate and division-wide priorities.
    • Track work and progress in Azure DevOps, ensuring timely updates and clear documentation.
    • Join daily standups and office hours to provide support and maintain stakeholder visibility.

    The expertise you bring:

    • 5+ years of overall industry experience in security engineering, compliance, or cloud risk management.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field OR 5–7 years equivalent experience.
    • Active CISSP certification or equivalent (SANS GIAC certifications accepted).
    • Proven ability in automation, coding, and secure workflow development.
    • Experience with secure code reviews and static/dynamic analysis tools.
    • Familiarity with compliance automation frameworks (e.g., Azure Policy, Microsoft Purview).

    Rate: $9,800 – $10,900 monthly
