Our client, a leading global technology company, is seeking a Business Planning Project Manager (BP PM) to support their Business Planning team in driving pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies for cloud and technology solutions. As a BP PM, you will work closely with Business Planners and Operations teams to support the execution of product and service launches, track project milestones, and manage cross-functional alignment. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of strategic initiatives while helping to streamline business operations and improve launch efficiency.
How You Will Make an Impact?
Launch & Project Management Support
- Lead launch execution, including prioritization, escalations, data validation, and pricing verification.
- Manage the end-to-end launch process, including meter creation, usage tracking, and reporting.
- Create and maintain launch documentation and project visibility tools.
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a key liaison between Business Planners and teams across Engineering, Product Marketing, and Finance.
- Facilitate alignment and approval processes for launch initiatives.
- Manage operational processes such as Control Tower updates, change requests, and exception handling.
Meeting Coordination & Leadership Support
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional stakeholder meetings, leadership reviews, and team syncs.
- Communicate key updates, blockers, and progress to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Ensure that project milestones are clearly communicated and tracked across teams.
Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to increase efficiency within the Business Planning team.
- Develop and refine strategic initiatives focused on improving pricing, packaging, and monetization.
- Mentor new Business Planners and provide resources to support onboarding and process alignment.
Project & Review Tracking
- Maintain the Project Tracker to monitor progress and track required approvals.
- Coordinate VP-level review meetings to drive strategic decision-making and execution.
The Expertise You Bring
Required:
6–8 years of project management experience in a business, technology, or operations setting.
- PMI Certification (Required).
- Experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Jira, etc.).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and track project progress.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience working in fast-paced environments.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree (preferred but not required).
- Experience in the software or technology industry, especially within large enterprise tech companies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Experience with monetization strategies, pricing models, or packaging of cloud and technology solutions.
- Ability to work well in ambiguity and adjust to shifting priorities.
