Our client, a global technology leader, is looking for a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to work with leading-edge tooling and process technology, contributing to the design and development of critical silicon used in cloud products. 1. Minimum 7 years of experience with Synthesis.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience with Floorplanning.
3. Minimum 7 years of experience with Fusion Compiler and STA closure.

Opportunity Overview:

The purpose of this team is to provide intellectual property (IP) for the larger System on Chips (SoCs) used in silicon for cloud products. This role will contribute to the design and development of critical silicon for servers, including products like Maya 100. The primary focus is on frontend physical design and STA ownership at the block and subsystem levels.Key responsibilities include:

• Synthesis, floorplanning, timing and synthesis constraint generation.
• STA triage and checklist signoff.
• Physical design flow development/automation.
• Identification of library deficiencies and memory collateral generation.

Other Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Perform heads-down design work (80% of the role), with additional time spent on meetings (10%) and providing status updates (10%).
• Provide concise and actionable updates to the program management team, identifying progress, risks, and issues.
• Collaborate in a dynamic environment and contribute outside of defined tasks as needed, especially in maturing technologies and toolchains.

Qualifications/Experience

Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 7+ years of industry experience in:
• Synthesis.
• Floorplanning.
• STA closure and Fusion Compiler.

Preferred:

• Experience with constraint generation.
• Expertise in flow scripting and tooling.
• Coordination with both Front-End (FE) and Back-End (BE) design teams.
