Team Red Dog is seeking a Data Analyst to join our client’s team, where you will play a key role in driving service reliability, incident hygiene, and systemic issue resolution. This position offers the opportunity to use your SQL, KQL, and Power BI skills in a fast-paced environment that values collaboration, operational excellence, and data-driven insights.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  1. 2+ years of experience with T-SQL and KQL to analyze telemetry, query large datasets, and provide actionable insights.
  2. 2+ years of experience in data analysis and ETL processes, including Azure Data Factory and SSIS, to ensure clean, reliable, and accessible data.
  3. 2+ years of Power BI dashboard development to deliver service health metrics, operational trends, and executive reporting.

Opportunity Overview:
This role is central to ensuring operational reliability by managing incident reviews, postmortems, and service health dashboards. You will work with engineering and product teams to surface insights, improve incident hygiene, and drive systemic issue resolution. It’s an excellent opportunity to combine technical skills with cross-functional collaboration to support mission-critical services at scale.

How you will make an impact:

  • Facilitate Weekly Incident Reviews, Executive Briefings, and Monthly Service Reviews to assess service health and operational performance.
  • Lead Weekly Livesite Review meetings to improve product reliability, DRI health, and incident record quality.
  • Ensure consistent shift handoffs and metadata validation.
  • Coordinate and moderate Retrospective Review sessions, extracting insights and ensuring repair item accountability.
  • Partner with engineering managers to align postmortems with organizational standards.
  • Design and maintain dashboards to visualize incident hygiene, MTTD/MTTR, and service health KPIs.
  • Develop telemetry systems and real-time data feedback loops to proactively surface issues and support predictive monitoring.

The expertise you bring:

  • 2+ years of experience with T-SQL and KQL.
  • 2+ years of experience in ETL and data analysis using tools such as Azure Data Factory or SSIS.
  • 2+ years of Power BI dashboard development.
  • Experience in service engineering, incident management, or site reliability.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred, but not required.
