Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining large Python applications.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with software debugging.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with hardware-software development.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with post-silicon validation processes and methodologies.

Opportunity Overview:

This role offers the chance to work on a first-of-its-kind product for Microsoft, developing advanced solutions for post-silicon validation processes. You will collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in software and hardware integration. The primary function of this role is to design, develop, and evaluate complex software applications that integrate seamlessly with hardware systems. As a key contributor to the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of post-silicon validation systems.

Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited to the Following:

  • Develop new features and components using Python and C++.
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including designers and developers, to align on specifications and deliver solutions.
  • Write clean, readable, and maintainable code while following industry best practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all phases of development.
  • Modify and maintain databases and management systems.
  • Create logical and physical database descriptions for management systems.
  • Analyze user requests to determine feasibility and provide cost/time estimates.
  • Devise solutions for complex technical problems

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Years of Experience Required: 5–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities.
  • Knowledge of UX design and REST API creation.
  • Proficiency in tools and technologies like SQL, Visual Basic, and debugging tools.
  • Disqualifiers: Candidates with only Python scripting experience will not qualify.
