Top 3 Required Skills & Experience (Must Haves):

  1. Microsoft Experience – Minimum 4+ years working with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 in an internal role (field, marketing, or support preferred).
  2. Excel & Power BI – Advanced skills in data tracking, analysis, and reporting to support roadmap and change management activities.
  3. SharePoint Administration – Strong understanding of SharePoint workflows, document management, and collaboration features.

About the Team & Role

This team is responsible for managing the M365 public roadmap and change communications to ensure Microsoft’s commercial customers are well-informed about upcoming product changes and innovations. The Program Manager will play a key role in curating, tracking, and communicating roadmap updates, running Change Council meetings, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of roadmap publications.

Key Responsibilities

  • M365 Public Roadmap Management – Own and manage roadmap content, ensuring timely updates and sign-offs from product managers and marketing leaders.
  • Customer-Facing Change Communications – Provide advance notices of changes to commercial customers to enhance transparency and preparedness.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with internal teams to streamline processes, improve documentation workflows, and maintain high communication standards.
  • Change Council Leadership – Support and facilitate Change Council meetings, including preparing presentations, tracking action items, and ensuring smooth execution of change processes.
  • Data & Process Optimization – Utilize Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint to track, analyze, and optimize roadmap workflows for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in program management, product marketing, communications, or a related field within Microsoft.
  • Education: A degree is not required, but relevant experience in business, communications, or project management is highly valued.
  • Deep familiarity with Office 365 / Microsoft 365 from an internal perspective.
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint to track and manage workflows.
  • Growth mindset & adaptability to navigate Microsoft’s fast-paced, complex environment
