Support Analyst 2

Team Red Dog - Redmond, WA, United States

Team Red Dog is looking for a remote Support Analyst to join our industry-leading technology client’s global IT Process and Standards (ITPS) team. In this critical role, you’ll monitor and analyze the health of worldwide datacenter breakfix queues, support escalations, and ensure timely prioritization that maintains operational reliability across hyperscale environments. Your work will directly impact uptime, service delivery, and customer satisfaction at massive global scale.

Top Required Skills (Must Haves):

IT Operations & Service Management (3–5 years) – Experience supporting or managing global IT operations, with a solid understanding of incident and service management processes.

  1. Data Analysis & Visualization (3+ years) – Skilled in using Power BI and related tools to generate actionable insights for operational decision-making.
  2. Datacenter or Hyperscale Environment Experience (3+ years) – Proven success supporting mission-critical infrastructure or large-scale operations with measurable reliability outcomes.

Opportunity Overview:

This role is a chance to play a pivotal part in maintaining the operational health of one of the world’s largest datacenter infrastructures. You’ll work at the intersection of IT service delivery and data-driven analysis—partnering with datacenter operations, engineering, and program management teams to keep breakfix processes running smoothly and efficiently. This position offers visibility into global IT operations, opportunities to influence process improvement, and the satisfaction of helping ensure world-class uptime and service continuity.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Proactively monitor the global IT breakfix ticket queues to detect trends and prevent backlog or aging issues.
  • Analyze ticket data to identify patterns, performance metrics, and improvement opportunities using Power BI and other tools.
  • Review and execute manual prioritization or override requests to ensure correct ticket handling and SLA compliance.
  • Collaborate with datacenter operations and engineering teams to manage escalations and restore healthy queue flow.
  • Support the Project Manager with ongoing process improvements, data-driven reporting, and prioritization framework development.
  • Assist in operational coverage and incident management during high-demand periods (e.g., GPU or hardware surges).

The Expertise You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, service management, or support roles.
  • 3+ years supporting or delivering technology and business solutions in hyperscale, mission-critical datacenter environments.
  • Proficiency with Power BI and other data visualization or reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Familiarity with ITSM and ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar.

What Makes a Candidate Highly Successful in This Role:

  • Demonstrates proactive ownership of queue health and escalations.
  • Communicates clearly and consistently with both engineering and operational partners.
  • Uses data to anticipate problems before they impact SLAs.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments where rapid response and prioritization are critical.
  • Shows curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset, contributing to scalable and sustainable breakfix processes.
