Our global client is hiring a Senior Maintenance Mechanic for first shift!

Responsibilities of the Senior Maintenance Mechanic

• Repair and maintain machinery, maintain the facility and repair forklifts if needed
• Repair machinery including electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics and other aspects for machinery used in manufacturing
• Weld on occasion and do basic carpentry in a modernized 140,000 square feet facility
• Be responsible for maintenance for first shift starting at 7 am Monday to Friday.
• Positions are open due to a retirement.

Requirements of the Senior Maintenance Mechanic

• High School graduate
• Three or more years of full-time experience as a maintenance mechanic preferably in a manufacturing type of setting and more experience is preferred
• Be well-rounded with machine repair, welding, carpentry, electrical controls, electronics, pneumatics and hydraulics as well as facility maintenance
• The ability to program PLC's is a plus but not required
• A strong hands-on aptitude is a must given the nature of this role
• This is a first shift position.

Compensation for the Senior Maintenance Mechanic

The annual starting salary for this position will be $35.00 per hour to $42.00 per hour with fantastic benefits.
