Bilingual Spanish Speaking Supplier Quality Engineer

Our client on the far northwest side of Chicago area near O'Hare Airport is hiring a Bilingual Spanish Speaking Supplier Quality Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Supplier Quality Engineer

• Conduct global and domestic supplier quality audits as needed
• Expect domestic and international travel to exceed at least 10%
• Facilitate the PPAP and the ISIR documentation approval process
• Assist with the documentation of the FMEA's and Quality Control Inspection Plans
• Be responsible to facilitate IATF-16949, ISO 9001, 8D, 5 Whys, 4M, ISIR, AIAG Core Tools, and auditing
• Be involved with Material Review Board team audits
• Be active with the CAR, SCAR, MRB and FMEA processes
• Apply your knowledge and the proper use of metrology
• Oversee inspection functions and be involved with product launches, changes and corrective actions

Requirements of the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Supplier Quality Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is strongly preferred but not required
• Six Sigma Blackbelt is a plus but not required
• Use MS Office including Excel and Word
• The ability to speak the Spanish language
• One or more years of experience working with automotive Tier 1 or Tier II suppliers is a plus
• Travel will be required including for supplier audits
• Some relocation assistance may be available to Chicago

Compensation for the Bilingual Spanish Speaking Supplier Quality Engineer

The annual starting salary for this position ranges from $75,000 per year to $85,000 per year
