Electrical Engineering Technician

Our client is hiring an Electrical Engineering Technician! Apply your basic electrical engineering and technical know-how to assist our client with their in-house automation and robotics machine building division!

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineering Technician

• You will be responsible to assist or lead with reviewing electrical schematics, panel building and electrical assembly including wiring terminal blocks, etc.
• Develop or assist with the development of panel system layouts including distribution boards, switches, inductive proximity sensors, relays, terminal blocks, circuit-breakers, etc.
• Be proficient using wire strippers, hand tools and power tools to assist with the building of machinery.
• Test, validate voltage drops, continuity, etc. once the assembled units are initially turned on for testing.

Requirements of the Electrical Engineering Technician

• High School or associate degree in a technical area especially within the electrical control's realm is a plus.

Compensation for the Electrical Engineering Technician

The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $30.00 per hour to $34.00 per hour depending on experience.
