Office Manager/Transaction Coordinator 

Our client is a commercial real estate investment and property management company. They are a small, but fast-growing company searching for the right candidate to join the team. They are looking for a process minded, organized, and positive person who excels at prioritization and written communications. Successful candidates will have a keen interest in real estate, be able to adapt to change, and have a desire to be a key contributor to a startup company. Our clients are our tenants, investors, lenders, vendors and ourselves (we manage our own buildings as well!).

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement professional financial reporting and best-in-class property and asset management to small balance assets that have not previously been professionally managed.
  • Integral role in long-range planning of budgets and capital events for each property.
  • Prepares monthly reports in accordance with ownership requirements. Analyzes property income statements and compares actual vs. budget in expense and income categories.
  • Assist with vendor management, solving client requests, and assisting the founder with operating goals.

Successful candidates will possess the following:

  • Strong professional communication, presentation, (oral and written) and interpersonal skills are required with the ability to comfortably and effectively communicate at all levels (owners, tenants, contractors, asset managers, etc.).
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business documents, lease documents and detailed financial summaries.
  • High level of proficiency in computer skills including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internet / application software is required along with a willingness and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to take direction but work independently with little supervision.

Qualifications:

  • High level of proficiency in computer skills including MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internet / application software is required along with a willingness and ability to learn new software programs.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Operational, Office Manager, Property Management or related environment.
  • Prior experience working in a commercial real estate environment preferred.

 

Compensation: $60,000+
