We’re seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Senior Manager of Turf & Forage Seed Sales to drive innovation, growth, and customer excellence. Your Mission: Growth with Purpose

As the Senior Manager of Turf & Forage Seed Sales, you’ll be at the forefront of developing our turf and forage seed sales strategy. You’ll build strong relationships with a diverse customer base—from municipal districts to sod farms—and ensure our customers get the right solutions at the right time. You’ll also mentor, and empower other sales members while overseeing inventory and procurement.

This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in turf and forage seed, a proven track record in sales, and the drive to lead with integrity and innovation.


What You’ll Be Doing

Sales & Business Growth

  • Cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective customers, including:
    • Parks & Recreation departments, school districts, municipalities
    • Sports fields and golf courses
    • Agricultural cooperatives, garden centers, and retail stores
    • Landscape professionals, sod farms, ranchers, and farmers
  • Travel to meet clients and grow new business opportunities
  • Support over-the-counter sales and custom seed mix quoting
  • Manage the sales cycle from pitch to fulfillment

Team Leadership & Training

  • Be the go-to expert for our inside sales team
  • Coach and mentor team members on turf and forage sales best practices
  • Create educational materials for internal and external stakeholders

Customer Relationship Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor from quote to delivery
  • Maintain transparency and clear communication on order status and delivery timelines
  • Deliver exceptional service that builds long-term trust

Inventory Management & Procurement

  • Oversee inventory levels and procurement strategies
  • Ensure availability of seed products at competitive market values
  • Analyze trends to make data-driven purchasing decisions

Industry Engagement

  • Represent our brand at trade shows, events, and in professional organizations
  • Stay on the pulse of the market to bring back new ideas and opportunities


What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Agriculture, Turf Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in turf/forage seed sales or agri-business leadership
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a high level of self-motivation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Willingness to travel regularly to meet customers and attend events
