We are looking for a Director of Nursing for a senior living center in Riverside, IL.
Must have warmth and an upbeat personality. Culture is family like!
3 Weeks vacation in the first year.
*Must have held a DON title prior at a senior living center or skilled care community.
*Memory care preferred.
*Dementia training is a plus.
*Must be an RN. 24/7 accessibility.
*Admin responsibilities-scheduling, approve hourly employees, funnel paperwork to accounting.
*2-3 years as a director.
Responsibilities
*Supervising all nursing staff
*Overseeing department budgets
*Reporting to higher management in the healthcare facilities
*Maintaining high standards of care for all patients
*Managing patients' data and medical records as confidential records
*Developing plan of care for residents
*Communicating with doctors, patients and family members about patient health
*Recruiting, training and on-boarding new nursing staff
*Providing ongoing education classes
*Implementing new procedures and training nurses on policies
