More details:
A family in Oakland, NJ is looking for a fun summer nanny for their three children, ages 4, 6, and 7 years old. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Availability for occasional evening care is preferred. Nanny will have the option to continue in the fall as an after-school nanny. Fall hours will be Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm.

Duties:
Warming up basic breakfast (frozen pancakes and bagels) and making lunches for the children. Tidying up their rooms and playroom. Doing the children’s laundry and making appointments for them. No pet care is required.

Ideal nanny:
The ideal nanny for this family has a sweet, caring, trustworthy, patient personality. She is energetic, enjoys arts and crafts, is able to drive, and loves to have fun. She has clear and open communication and does not use a harsh tone. Looking for someone who is flexible and has experience with multiple children around the same age. The perfect nanny for this family is able to swim (preferably Swim Safe certified). Teaching experience and the ability to speak Spanish are also preferred, but not required.

About the children:
This 4-year-old is loving, sensitive, happy, playful, and energetic. He likes cars, dinosaurs, and arts and crafts. He plays soccer and baseball after school.

This 6-year-old is funny, loud, playful, curious, and happy. She loves pretend play, dressing up as her favorite princess, and doing makeup. She is adventurous and loves cooking and tasting new foods. She plays soccer after school.

This 7-year-old is happy, loving, funny, playful, and caring. She loves swimming, arts and crafts, soccer, and gym class. She plays soccer after school. The children get along all the time.

About the parents:
Mom is an easygoing, flexible, playful, caring, and attentive “type A” mom. She works in the office one day a week. Dad is serious, playful, fair, and direct. They believe in Gentle Parenting and use a reward-based discipline system. When there are issues, they separate the children and have dialogue to get to the root cause of the problem. Family is vaccinated for Covid-19.
