Marketing Account Manager
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Role (Overview of the position):
The SMASH CO. is seeking an outgoing, adaptable, and communicative candidate who is proactive and passionate about the company marketing products and the clients they serve. The Account Manager will act as the main point of contact for our clients, track campaign results, and be responsible for maintaining overall client satisfaction from onboarding through the life of the account.
Responsibilities (Tasks associated with the role):
Conduct all new client onboarding calls and set performance targets and expectations
Assist the clients in collecting the necessary information to begin a project or campaign
Depending on need, assist the clients in setting up the necessary business pages
Act as a liaison between third party vendors and clients to ensure proper project management
Conduct weekly phone calls with clients to review account and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
Prepare SEO/PPC reports for client meetings and review with appropriate parties
Manage client accounts through multiple third party platforms including GoogleMyBusiness, Bright Local, WhatConverts, and Sharpnet.
Receive all client feedback and give directive to the team as needed
Identify opportunities to upsell marketing services that would benefit both SMASH CO. and the client.
Requirements (Expected Proficiencies and Tools):
Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or related field or relevant experience
NOT a COVID vaccination or mask (We believe in free-will)
1-2 years of marketing/account management experience
1-2 years PPC/Paid Social Media advertising experience
Proficient in the Google Business Suite
Proficient with SEO and Web Analytics
Basic understanding of the different website hosting platforms
Excellent written/spoken communication skills
Strong client management and problem solving skills
Results (Expected accomplishments):
Prove client campaign success through appropriate lead generation reports and client communication documentation.
Maintain recurring revenue for the department through client retention at a rate of 70% or more
Generate a set amount of monthly revenue for the department through marketing upsells
