Video Production Manager

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Role (Position Overview): The Video Media Account Manager is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for attracting and connecting with current and future clients. The Video Production Manager will be responsible for collaborating in conception, shooting, editing and managing video and photo content. This position specializes in wearing multiple hats throughout the production process, including concepting, shoot prep, operating photo/video cameras, light design, audio, photo/video editing, creating graphic packages and producing. He/she will manage the development, planning, and production of the team photo and video needs, as well as concept content for all mediums. This role should be a high energy, positive attitude creative who can produce quality content packages end-to-end with minimal oversight. This person should be knowledgeable of all social media and company-relevant digital mediums across various platforms and be able to create photo and video content accordingly.

 

Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role):

  • Manage all digital media from images to video content

  • Produce, manage, and direct creation of digital content (Photo/Video/Sound)

  • Oversee production schedules and follow a content calendar

  • Create and approve content while ensuring consistency by following company brand, quality and legal standards & provide a steady stream of video content ideas for shoots and edits

  • Oversee, shoot, direct and edit multiple video pieces simultaneously

  • Responsible for backup and organization of digital content

  • Engage with Marketing team to provide creative direction

  • In charge of upholding the brand image

  • Manage all digital media channels (YouTube/Vimeo/Libsyn)

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies):

  • 3-5 years of experience required, with commercial video experience preferred.

  • A logical but creative mindset, being able to take a company’s objectives and identify campaign strategy through research and analysis (i.e.: recommending appropriate verbiage, tone, targeting, interests, and more).

  • Experienced and able to manage all forms of digital media (Stills, Video, Editing, etc.)

  • Expert knowledge in YouTube and other video management systems.

  • Proficient in compression and web optimized digital media formats

  • Extremely proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, etc.)

  • Ability to continue to stay on top of digital trends and apply new styles on the fly

  • Ability to create impactful content quickly

  • Motion Graphics capabilities a plus

Results Required:

  • Regular weekly deadlines met

  • Content created for all social platforms weekly

  • Content created for all new campaigns as requested

  • Follow and deliver content per a set calendar
