Associate Recruiter/Sourcing Specialist

Role (Overview of the position):

The Associate Recruiter/Sourcing Specialist is in charge of sourcing and screening resumes for all positions that the SMASH recruiting department is currently hiring for. The associate recruiter will utilize the company’s database and available job boards to review resumes, email candidates to complete assessments, text candidates to complete assessments, invite candidates to apply, connect with prospective candidates to apply, help schedule candidates for group interviews. The Associate Recruiter/Sourcing Specialist will also help with other miscellaneous tasks that may be requested by the other recruiters.

Responsibilities (Tasks associated with the role):

  • Job board management: post all new open positions on internal and external job sites; ensure postings are accurate and up-to-date; refresh all job postings
  • Invite candidates to apply utilizing resume databases in ZipRecruiter, Indeed and Craigslist
  • Utilize LinkedIn and Linked Helper to set automated search criteria and invite potential candidates to apply
  • Screen new applicants daily based on each position's requirements and place qualified candidates on each recruiter's calendar
  • Reject candidates that are not interested and/or not a fit
  • Send assessment invitations to new applicants
  • Review assessments daily and match them up to the corresponding candidate record - notate the file and send notifications to the recruiter

Results (Expected accomplishments):

  • All applicants receive timely communications regarding the status of their application, regardless of hiring outcome
  • All new positions are posted in a timely matter
  • Assessment email account inbox emptied at the end of each day
  • All assessments uploaded to the correct candidate record
  • Max out daily limit of candidate invitations each day
  • All applicants are tracked via ATS, with current statuses and notes as things progress

Requirements (Expected Proficiencies and Tools):

  • Proven experience to successfully source and attract passive external talent
  • Ability to successfully source and attract passive external talent
  • Software experience with Microsoft Office, G-Suite, MacOS
  • ATS experience
  • Experience posting ads on ZipRecruiter, Indeed, Craigslist, LinkedIn, Facebook
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent administrative skills
