Our client, a leader in portable X-ray and ultrasound services, is seeking a collaborative and dynamic Director of Operations with expertise in managing healthcare technical staff and optimizing service delivery.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of X-ray and ultrasound technologists across New York State, ensuring optimal productivity, seamless workflows, and high-quality service delivery. This role will also serve as the essential link between the technologist team and broader organizational departments to drive strategic alignment and operational success.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and manage the daily operations of X-ray and ultrasound technologists to optimize productivity and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Act as a primary coordinator with dispatch, client relations, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operational alignment.
  • Develop and oversee scheduling and resource allocation to ensure adequate team coverage during peak times while addressing technologist needs.
  • Collaborate with HR and recruitment to onboard, retain, and develop a skilled and motivated technologist team.
  • Serve as a critical liaison between the technologist team and departments such as sales and customer service to address challenges and improve workflows.
  • Continuously identify and resolve operational inefficiencies while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain adherence to regulatory compliance and QA standards through audits and quality controls.
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives to align operational goals with company-wide objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical or clinical staff, ideally in the healthcare or diagnostic imaging industry.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and service delivery best practices.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, capable of effectively working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to optimize workflows and address operational challenges proactively.
  • Experience in scheduling, resource planning, and managing team productivity.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, retain, and develop professional teams while fostering a positive work culture.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to align operational initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in managing relationships with stakeholders, including dispatch teams, QA/compliance, and customer relations.

Salary: $150K




Compensation: $150,000.00
