Our client, a reputable accounting firm, is seeking a meticulous Public Accountant with expertise in analyzing financials to join their team.

This ideal candidate must have expertise in proficiently preparing, arranging, and managing tax statements and returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporate businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements for individuals, partnerships, and corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Balance and maintain accounting ledgers, posting journal entries according to GAAP standards.
  • Prepare and file tax returns for clients after thorough evaluations of income, deductions, and credits.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes, conduct research, and provide recommendations for tax planning strategies.
  • Assist clients with tax compliance and reporting requirements, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Analyze financial statements to identify potential tax-saving opportunities and optimize tax strategies.
  • Gather necessary financial information for tax preparation and financial reporting, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Review and interpret financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations, providing insights and recommendations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a public accountant in a reputable accounting firm or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, interpretation of financial reports, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Experience using financial services software such as QuickBooks and Lacerte.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex financial issues effectively.
  • Proven ability to assume full responsibility for tasks and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.

Salary: $120K




Compensation: $120,000
