Our client, a financial services provider supporting skilled nursing facilities, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in full-cycle AP processing across multiple entities.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate invoice entry and payments, reconciling vendor accounts, applying credits, and supporting AP operations to maintain clean, up-to-date records and strong vendor relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter all vendor invoices and disburse payments for multiple facilities promptly.
  • Monitor and apply vendor credits to ensure accurate payment balances and avoid overpayments.
  • Reconcile monthly AP reports to verify payment accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Review and audit invoices monthly to ensure correct coding, amounts, and vendor information.
  • Collaborate with vendors and facility staff to resolve outstanding invoices and maintain good working relationships.
  • Support the AP team with ongoing projects and process improvements as needed.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audits, reporting, and month-end close activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulations throughout all AP functions.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in accounts payable, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or skilled nursing facilities is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to manage and reconcile data accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records and invoices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal departments.
  • Ability to analyze AP data and resolve discrepancies independently and efficiently.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement in AP processes.

Salary: $100K




Compensation: $100,000.00
