Our client, a real estate management firm, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator with experience in basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will efficiently manage office operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely rent collections, and effective communication with property managers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic bookkeeping, and data entry, manage financial records, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Collect and process rent payments from tenants, issue receipts, and ensure timely deposits while maintaining detailed records.
- Coordinate and manage the entire lease renewal process, including drafting new lease agreements and ensuring all leases are up to date.
- Act as a primary point of contact between property managers and tenants, addressing concerns, relaying important information, and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all office and tenant documents, ensuring both digital and physical files are easily accessible and up to date.
- Handle incoming phone calls, manage the office email account, schedule appointments, and oversee office supply inventory and ordering.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the management team, assisting with special projects, preparing correspondence, and conducting research as needed.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of proven experience in basic bookkeeping and office administration, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with property managers and tenants.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to maintain accurate records and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
- Strong time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with rent collection and lease management is highly advantageous, providing a deeper understanding of the real estate management process.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with property managers, tenants, and colleagues.

Salary: $80K
Compensation: $80,000.00
