A major electric company is seeking an Electric Forman.
The ideal candidate will manage electric installation job sites on newly constructed buildings.

Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems following National Electric Code
• Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
• Work with construction site managers and team to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
• Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
• Follow NYC Electrical Code
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
• Communicate with team leaders.
• Plan details of work.
• Perform all work according to OSHA requirements and company policy.
• Serve as back up for Foreman

Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as electric mechanic.
• Advanced skills in Blueprint Reading, IBC/NEC codes, and materials management.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
• Possess OSHA Certification is a PLUS
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication verbal and written skills.
• Strong ethical responsibility to top-level management and coworkers.
