Our client, a manufacturing and distribution company, is seeking a detail-oriented Creative Coordinator & Project Manager with experience in packaging design, creative project coordination.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and guiding creative projects and packaging details across packaging, ensuring visuals are on-brand, organized, and production-ready for both retail and eCommerce.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with in-house designers to develop and execute packaging, digital assets, marketing materials, and promotional visuals across multiple product lines.
Maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs while helping guide visual direction for seasonal campaigns, retail promotions, and product roll-outs.
Ensure artwork files are compliant with production specs—reviewing bar codes, legal copy, die lines, and other print standards for accuracy.
Organize and maintain a detailed archive of all artwork files, creative versions, and design folders by product and campaign.
Liaise with external freelancers, illustrators, and vendors to manage asset timelines, ensuring all creative deliverables stay on schedule.
Provide creative input and support to the marketing team for social media campaigns, email marketing, and catalog layouts.
Stay up to date with version control and design updates, ensuring that only the most current files are used for production or publication.
Support the broader product development and marketing teams by streamlining the creative workflow and maintaining efficient communication between departments.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in creative coordination, packaging design, or marketing within the retail, toy, gift, or home goods industries.
Solid understanding of what makes effective packaging for both in-store shelves and digital platforms like Amazon.
Proficiency with design organization tools and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite; ability to manage large volumes of files and assets efficiently.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to oversee several design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail, especially in preparing files for print production, packaging compliance, and version control.
Effective communicator with experience working collaboratively with designers, freelancers, illustrators, and external vendors.
Creative mindset with a marketing lens—comfortable supporting campaigns with fresh visual ideas and design insight.
Self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing visual storytelling to life.
