Plumbing Site Manager

Our client, a plumbing company is seeking a detail-oriented Site Manager with proven experience in the plumbing industry and a track record of effective leadership to manage many commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of project coordination, material management, and team supervision to ensure the successful completion of plumbing projects within specified timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate jobs from start to finish, including coordinating shop drawings, creating job schedules, and setting up job sequences to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Anticipate crew needs and schedule completion dates accordingly, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
  • Review plans and scope of work thoroughly to understand all requirements for project completion and write up punch lists for finishing crews.
  • Act as a liaison between contractors, ensuring clear communication and coordination of requests and needs.
  • Prepare material lists in advance of job starts, order and receive materials, and organize them effectively on the job site.
  • Maintain accurate updates on job progress and status, informing the office of any change orders and following up on approvals.
  • Monitor employee time tracking, ensuring adherence to schedules and promptly addressing any issues or discrepancies.
  • Take proactive measures to resolve issues and challenges as they arise, providing direction to crews and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of applied experience in the plumbing industry, with demonstrated knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership or management experience, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in time management and prioritization, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations governing construction sites, with a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Salary: $150K




Compensation: $150,000.00
