Our client, a service-based company in the construction industry, is seeking a results-driven Sales Director with proven expertise in sales strategy, team leadership, and talent development.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing sales team, driving revenue growth, and scaling the department by recruiting, training, and mentoring new sales talent to meet aggressive business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and expand the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and maintaining a culture of high performance.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business growth targets in the competitive construction services market.
Monitor key sales metrics and performance KPIs to ensure accountability and continuous improvement across the sales organization.
Identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and expand the company’s market presence.
Collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and executive leadership to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of sales team members to support rapid departmental growth.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine sales tactics and positioning.
Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role within a service-based or construction-related industry.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience in high-growth environments.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to hire, train, and mentor a diverse team of sales professionals.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and motivate internal teams.
Experience developing and executing scalable sales strategies in B2B environments.
Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage pipelines and performance.
