Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative with experience in selling to pet food manufacturing companies.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's market presence, achieving sales targets, and establishing strong relationships with key clients within the pet food manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the pet food manufacturing industry.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Present and demonstrate products effectively to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales strategies and promotional materials.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
- Attend industry trade shows and events to network and generate leads.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, specifically in the pet food manufacturing industry. Candidate must have been selling to pet food manufacturing companies.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the pet food manufacturing process and market.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time and priorities effectively.
- Proficient in using CRM software to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
Location: Remote – Anywhere in the USA
Salary: $70K + commissions
Compensation: $70,000.00
