Our client, a service based company, is seeking a reliable and competent Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate must have extensive managerial and supervisory experience, as responsibilities include managing various departmental managers, 6 field managers, and 400 + employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the internal structure of an organization based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment
  • Project a positive image of the organization, its employees, customers, and the industry while consistently improving customer service and satisfaction through the standard operating procedure
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics, guidelines, and standards criteria and policies for evaluating and assessing the company's efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of managers and employees, organize and oversee their work and schedules, and conduct performance evaluations according to organizational policies
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and establish new policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations
  • Lead coordination and integration of efforts among operations, engineering, technology, and customer service divisions to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes

Qualifications:

  • 3 + years of experience as Director of Operations/Chief Operating Manager or any similar managerial role
  • Superior knowledge of practices, theories, policies, and multiple operational functions and principles in handling finance, customer service, marketing, production, and employee management
  • Plan and manage new operational processes to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity and maximum efficiency to support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures, roles, and policies while adhering to industry regulations and legislative guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g., SAP, ERP, CRM)
  • Ability to implement new roles and structures that improve productivity, efficiency, and speed to accommodate rapidly changing business demands within the scope of responsibility

Compensation: $250,000.00
