Our client, a Title Insurance brokerage firm is seeking a detail-oriented Recording Officer with strong expertise in title recording requirements.
This position ensures that all property documents are accurately prepared, submitted, and recorded in compliance with state and county regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Review, prepare, and submit title documents for recording in accordance with state and county standards.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of legal descriptions, signatures, and notary seals.
- Monitor recording statuses and promptly resolve any rejections.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recording requirements, regulations, and fee structures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate document recording.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Recording Officer or similar role in the title industry.
- In-depth knowledge of title recording processes and regulations.
- Must have experience in title work within NY and NJ jurisdictions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in document preparation and tracking systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret and apply title regulations accurately.
