Our client, a leading design, manufacturing, and distribution company with a strong ecommerce presence, is seeking a talented Chief Information Officer CIO to oversee all aspects of technology in the company.

As the Chief Information Officer CIO, you will be reporting to the CTO and be responsible for managing hardware, software, and network infrastructure, as well as leading a team of technology professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the technology strategy to support the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee the implementation, optimization and maintenance of ERP and WMS systems.
• Implement and manage EDI integrations across multiple platforms and businesses.
• Build and manage a business intelligence team to support complex reporting needs sourced from various platforms.
• Manage the software development team to support the company's custom software needs.
• Ensure the availability, scalability, and security of all technology infrastructure.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure optimal value for the company.
• Build and lead a high-performance technology team by hiring, coaching, and developing team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that drive business results.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong expertise in ERP (IBS by IBM preferred), WMS, EDI, and business intelligence systems.
• Proven track record of building and leading high-performance technology teams.
• Experience in software development methodologies and project management.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
