Accounts Payable Manager

Our client, a real estate investing company with extensive property holdings across multiple states, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee all aspects of accounts payable processes.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing purchase orders, invoicing, payments, vendor communication, and leading a team of AP administrators.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, coordination with project managers, reconciliation of accounts, and effective communication with vendors.
  • Promptly post received invoices, reconcile pending invoices daily, and verify contract accuracy for timely payment.
  • Prioritize payments based on aging reports, coordinate payment details with stakeholders, and address payment shortfalls.
  • Regularly reconcile internal records with vendor statements and communicate with vendors on payment timelines.
  • Proactively manage vendor communication, prioritize payments, and facilitate communication with project managers.
  • Recruit, train, and manage accounts payable staff, conduct weekly team meetings, and provide ongoing support.
  • Generate and analyze financial reports, present reports to supervisors and stakeholders, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, stay updated on accounting regulations, and facilitate audits.
  • Evaluate processes for efficiency, implement improvements and automation, and solicit feedback for continuous enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of purchase order processes and invoice management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial data entry and reconciliation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Salary: $100K




Compensation: $100,000.00
