The Talent Source has partnered with one of the world's leading Digital Transformation firms to engage a Technology Track Lead to join their Detroit practice working with a portfolio of innovative Automative clients.

Success in this position will be based equally on your ability to present strategic technical recommendations in your client facing capacity, in addition to demonstrating hands on leadership in the Microsoft .Net Tech Stack and CMS products including: Sitecore.


As a Technology Track Lead you will be engaged in leading a key client through a technology evolution and CMS transformation to deliver a global site redesign including new features and functions from a technical perspective.

Technology Responsibilities:

  • Primary POC for client’s IT and Business stakeholders related to Technology solution and tools
  • Navigate CMS migration from Kentico to Sitecore
  • Function as .Net SME Support for client
  • Oversee technical production of all workstreams, Website (, Integration (Martech Tech Stack), CRM Management, OLA development, Social media
  • Manage offshore development team and onshore resources
  • Evaluate technology tools and provide solution options
  • Document and maintain overall Martech stack solution
  • Provide POVs on technology solutions, best practices, process automations and present to client
  • Review development estimates provided by engineering team
  • Engage in internal design discussions with engineering teams and resolve any dependencies (Tech/Functional)
  • Review proposed technical solutions internally and present to clients
  • Identify opportunities and layout technology roadmap
  • Work with Data Strategy track to identify Technology track tasks and solutions
  • Work with Data Analytics track to review analytics requirements and design any required integrations

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Must have the ability to work with cross-domain teams: (Creative/Content/Strategy/SEO/Analytics/Data/Ad agencies)
  • Work with Strategy track to align IT/Technology track goals with the overall strategy
  • Work closely with client’s IT teams to gather their priorities and goals for short-term/long term
  • Identify key pain points for Business/IT and proactively propose solutions to address them
  • Bridge the gap between AdTech and Martech teams
  • Build relationships with client’s IT/Business key stakeholders by having regular monthly cadence
  • Showcase business value for the Technology work to clients on regular basis

Business Requirements:

  • Be comfortable helping clients with tech strategy in Martech and ecommerce space.
  • Demonstrated ability to help with budget planning, creation of roadmaps and provide estimates.
  • Proven ability to work well with other domain leads such as Strategy, Delivery and Data teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, and is able to clearly articulate the value in terms of:

Customers’ strategy -> Customers’ business initiatives -> Customers’ technical initiatives -> Critical capabilities to achieve said objectives -> how does technical landscape help achieve those capabilities.

Solution and Technical Architectural Experience:

The Data must haves:

  • Detailed Understanding and execution experience of defining, designing and executing Data Warehouse and Data-Based Solution.
  • Understand and can independently handle Build/Buy Decision.

Data - The good to haves:

  • Client-facing execution experience around CDP, MDM and DMP System.
  • Good Knowledge of setting up DataLake, Big Data, Graph and Data Transformation.
  • Knowledge and experience with EDW, Common data model experience would be useful.


  • It is essential you possess strong experience in Microsoft Technology Stack for this position.
  • Ideally you will also possess the following:
  • Good Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform/Any other cloud Platform and infrastructure especially around FAAS, Devops and IAAS.
  • Good to have Tealium, Kentico and Optimizely experience.


  • Agile, BDD, TDD, DDD and DevOps automation.
  • Understand Domain/Behavioral/Test Driven design, Micro services, Graph QL & Rest API.
  • E-Commerce solution experience.
  • Have SA capability experience in at least 1 CMS platform either Sitecore or AEM.
  • Understand Middle tier Architecture especially around Service Bus and Streams.
  • Good Experience with Analytics and A/B testing platforms.
  • Experience in UI architecture such as single page also helpful in addition to: Ability to explore, analyze and quickly learn third party application stack, Social Media Integration, Knowledge of Messaging and Streaming based solutions; and
  • AI and Bots.

Enterprise & Segment Architecture Experience:

  • It is essential to possess a basic understanding of difference between different Architecture segments and how is it connected to Digital business transformation.

Ideally, you will also be able to demonstrate experience in:

  • Defining Current Architecture, Target Architecture as per Road Map, And evolving Transition Architecture.
  • Understands Gathering Opportunity and Solution, Gap Analysis and Defining Success stories around already developed pieces.
  • Understand and can independently handle Build/Buy Decision.
  • Experience with BCD, Logical and technical architecture.

Marketing Technology Experience Must Haves:

  • NET CMS Platforms like Sitecore/Kentico
  • Digital Asset Management
  • Marketing Automation/ESP (Bronto)
  • Experience with Customer Data Platform tools (Tealium)
