  • Lead batch process manufacturing of multiple coatings product lines across 4 facilities within the US, with emphasis on process improvement, inventory control and CapEx planning

Specific Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Create and regularly update the Strategic Plan for Operations & Manufacturing, including appropriate goals and accountabilities
  • Lead productivity improvement initiatives to reduce/eliminate production bottlenecks, establish and implement measurement of Performance KPIs
  • Lead ongoing process improvement/cost reduction projects
  • Support launch of new products
  • Oversee logistics, Supply Chain Fulfillment and Inventory Control
  • Oversee Facilities and Equipment Management
  • Evaluate, recommend and manage CapEx projects including upgrade and installation of essential new equipment
  • Interface with Sales, Marketing and Finance


The Profile:

  • BS in Operations, Engineering or similar required.
  • 10+ years industrial (i.e. non-academic) experience in batch manufacturing of formulated products (e.g. coatings, cosmetics, food) 
  • Meaningful manufacturing leadership experience across multiple locations. Non-union experience required; union experience helpful but not essential
  • Small/midsize/family company experience
  • Proven track record of leading change resulting in measurable process improvement while maintaining a collaborative atmosphere
  • Experience leading ERP upgrade very helpful
  • Strong strategic thinking ability
  • Motivational leader who can create engagement across multiple locations, and proactively support the development of your team
  • Proven strong project management skills – you know how to ensure important initiatives stay on track and get over the finish line in a timely manner

Compensation: $150,000+
