The Opportunity:

You will be an essential member of the Corporate Development and FP&A teams, providing vital communication and coordination of mission-critical initiatives. There is excellent long term career potential although this should not be perceived as just a stepping stone position.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and manage the Company’s forecasting process
  • Drive organizational change through oversight of projects in the Company’s Restructuring Program
  • Prepare materials for quarterly Board meetings
  • Assist the VP FP&A with all major workstreams including
    • Detailed monthly/quarterly review and analysis of each operating segment for discussion with Segment leadership and Company CEO, CFO
    • Monthly review of restructuring project status
    • Monthly review of growth plans for each operating segment
    • Capex oversight
    • Annual forecasting with review of segment objectives
    • Long term cash flow forecast with particular attention to capital structure, debt metrics, etc. to be provided to ratings agencies for assessment of financial health
    • Peer performance assessment
  • Assist the VP Corporate Development with successful execution of acquisitions & divestitures
    • Directly coordinate the acquisition prospecting process including both internal resources and nurturing of external relationships with bankers, brokers and intermediaries
    • Coordinate Corporate, Operating Company and external resources necessary for identification, evaluation and execution of acquisition, joint venture, partnership and divestiture opportunities
    • Lead due diligence process, negotiate contracts and terms, establish post-closing transition and monitor performance to objectives
    • Participate in annual Growth & Strategy conference and regularly meet with Group Presidents to understand their individual acquisition strategies, targets and criteria

 

 

The Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar is required; MBA helpful
  • 7-10 years total work experience including meaningful experience in consulting or investment banking firm with manufacturing clients
  • Extensive experience in financial analysis and modeling
  • Direct, relevant experience in M&A, including experience in conducting financial due diligence and preparing valuation models
  • Effective communicator with high emotional intelligence and good judgement – you can understand the unique perspectives of top corporate and segment leadership and provide meaningful insights to support them
  • Adaptable - you can manage multiple projects or responsibilities smoothly with a balance between the more structured, routine FP&A and the varying intensity of the deal flow
  • High level of initiative

COMPENSATION:

The Company offers a base salary, meaningful bonus, strong benefit package and excellent long term career prospects.




Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 + bonus
